Of each customer or member a one time picture as well as (option) simultaneously scan picture of the ID is made for saving purposes in the Cardline database. If applicable, picture, customer or member details and / or scan picture ID can be printed on the card. This costs only few seconds more. The customer or member can take the card immediately.
In addition, if applicable, additional customer or member details can be registered in the data entry field of Cardline. Special fields are created for customer or member related notes.
In a traditional situation, with a card and a printed picture of the customer or member, but without the Cardline system, a receptionist checks if the customer or member is indeed the same person as printed on the card.
With the Cardline system the receptionist (or the customer or member) has to take the card and puts the card with magnet strip through the card reader or brings the proximity card near the antenna. Within 0.1 seconds the details of the person including picture and scan picture ID appears on the screen, regardless if only a few or even hundreds of thousands customers or members are registered in the Cardline database.
If the card might been forgotten the receptionist is able to find the customer or member with the help of a part of details of the person, like a part of the name, number or address, in order to let the customer or member check in.
In case of extension of Cardline in order to create an access control system the customer or member has to use the card to disclose the door or gate within 0.1 seconds.
The Cardline database is closed customer or member database system and meets all the privacy requirements.
